Plastic compartment

Plastic Tool/Material Bin
I made a plastic tool and material holder from plastic and a choroplast sign. The plastic was melted and vacuformed into the desired shape.
Above is the vacuformer, where the plastic is loaded in and raised to the heaters at the top. Once the plastic has melted enough, it is lowered back down, over a shape where the air is then vacuumed out from under and molding the plastic sheet into the desired shape.
I cut the excess plastic from the mold and then started on the housing.
Using a choroclaw and an exacto knife, I cut the sign how I wanted. Then I poked holes in the sign and fastened the sing into its new shape with zip-ties.
After putting the plastic in the choroplast box, I had my compartments, with a little channel at the top for longer items
